Mergent Group are looking for experienced and qualified HV Electricians to support a major project at the Olympic Dam Mine, with several opportunities available for immediate start as well as upcoming roles commencing within the next 4–8 weeks.

About the Role

• FIFO from Adelaide with camp accommodation provided or open to DIDO candidates
• $70–$75 per hour flat rate + super paid on all hours 
• 8/6 roster
• 10–12-hour workdays
• Long-term project opportunity

 

Required Licences & Certifications

• SA Electrical Licence (essential)
• BHP Induction (highly regarded)
• HV Switching Qualification (desirable)
• First Aid, including CPR/LVR
• White Card
• EEHA (Electrical Equipment in Hazardous Areas) certification
• Tools of the trade required (transport to site available at client expense)

 

Scope of Work

Full underground electrical services installation, including:

• Lighting
• Communications
• Electrical substations
• Pump stations
• General underground electrical infrastructure
