Mergent Group is supporting a leading communications technology integrator to find a Site Supervisor to join our team to assist in a major long term expansion project at Olympic Dam.
Key responsibilities of the role:
- Supervise and lead field teams across data and communications projects and integration works.
- Liaise with Project Managers and Engineers on project scheduling, delivery, equipment needs, and infrastructure readiness.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients’ supervisors and project managers, suppliers, and stakeholders.
- Conduct site safety inspections, pre-start meetings and toolbox talks
- Review and prepare work packs, drawings, and checklists for site builds.
- Monitor project progress and quality, providing technical guidance and coaching to teams.
- Participate in site meetings, audits, capital installs, and administrative tasks as needed
To be successful in this position, you will have:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction and integration of data and communications projects.
- Working knowledge of BHP requirements
- Previous experience working to a supervisor level
- Certificate III in Telecommunication Technology
- Strong planning and coordination skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Sound technical understanding and ability to guide a multi-trade project team effectively.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.
- A strong commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
